Donations
Wasatch Backcountry Rescue is funded by fundraisers and private donations.
WBR is a federal 501c3 non profit organization.
WBR uses money raised for training and education, for our members as well as the general public.
Our members have been to many dog training schools and have had the opportunity to attend National and International workshops on snowscience, avalanche training, and rescue dog schools.
These schools help members gain experience needed for rescue as well as bring new ideas into the organization.
For the general public WBR helps host numerous avalanche awareness programs, slide shows and and field clinics, to be proactive in our approach to mountain safety.WBR has also funded a Transceiver Rescue Training Park, where people can improve there transceiver skills
